“Unlock your Adventures” QR Codes
Hundreds of visually prominent “Unlock your adventures” QR codes are now on display in hotels & guesthouses, B&Bs, campsites, tourist attractions, retail outlets, pubs, restaurants and coffee shops throughout Cumbria, Northumberland, County Durham, Tyne and Wear and The Yorkshire Dales. They can also be spotted on the seat backs of all Stagecoach Cumbria tourist service buses and on guest welcome emails from some of the self-catering holiday parks.
The QR code directs visitors to our comprehensive local information portal/virtual leaflet rack of things to see and do in the region, grouped by theme and searchable by town, activity type or keyword. Each entry on the site includes a direct link to the client website to allow visitors to research your offer and book their visit with you directly. When they scan our QR code, these tourists are already in the area and actively looking for something to do during their visit.
